Students, faculty/librarians, staff, administrators, and alum are invited to join in this year's selection process to determine the 2021-2022 First Year Reading Experience (FYRE) book.
There are three outstanding finalists this year (in alphabetical order by author/editor):
- “American Like Me,” edited by America Ferrera with E. Cayce Dumont
- “Tell Me Who You Are: A Road Map for Cultivating Racial Literacy - Sharing Our Stories of Race, Culture, and Identity,” by Winona Guo and Priya Vulchi
- “Ties That Bind: Stories of Love and Gratitude from the First Ten Years of StoryCorps,” edited by Dave Isay
. The deadline to vote is Friday, May 7, 2021 at noon.
